AAPSM is where Sports Podiatrists join together to give back.

Sure, when you're starting off or still looking to be handed help from the Associations you join, AAPSM is here for you too... & we have Associate Membership available for you while you're at that stage. Nevertheless, our Full Membership is for those who can demonstrate that they really 'get it'.

You get that an Association for specialised clinicians is for the smaller part of our profession who understand the need to give back, so our specialty area can grow.

You get that at this stage of your career it's not about expecting others to spoon-feed you, & not all about your needs as an individual.

You get the 'noble calling' of pooling all our resources for the sake of our profession. You're the ones out there making your profession grow & improve, & you can demonstrate this on your re-application for Membership every year... without even trying.

AAPSM rocks... because we are tight-knit group of professions who love what we do in Sports Podiatry... & we love to help each other do it better. Don't forget we have AAPSM sessions each year at SMA conferences & recently at APodC conferences. Our state AAPSM meetings are really starting to take off now too. So we're used to splendid times when we see each other a few times a year. It's delightful to have great colleagues from all over Australia who understand the niche area of our work, & what it takes to have a small yet strong specialty profession.

If you're not at the stage of being a Full Member of AAPSM, we also encourage you to join - as an Associate Member. There's many stages in life when putting our profession first may not be possible - having family or starting a new business. This is the time when you can benefit from our backbone of great clinicians who our Full Members of AAPSM.
